Astrological Guidance January 15th – January 21st

Helena-Magdalena's Astrological Guidance for the Week!

Week 3, 2024

Time: January 15th – January 21st

Pluto enters Aquarius – a new era is on the horizon!

Pluto is the planet farthest from our solar system, which means it moves around the Sun very slowly. It takes Pluto 248 years to orbit the Sun, in contrast to Earth's approximately 365 days. This implies that Pluto stays in each zodiac sign for an extended period. Pluto has been traversing Capricorn since 2008. In 2023, it briefly entered Aquarius before returning to Capricorn. Now, it is fully transitioning into Aquarius! However, from September to November, it will briefly return to Capricorn one last time before traveling through Aquarius for the next twenty years.

This week marks a significant shift in energy as the Sun also departs from Capricorn and enters the fixed air sign of Aquarius. It's as if someone is opening the window, letting in fresh winds, new thoughts, and new ideas! But before the Sun and Pluto move into Aquarius later in the week, let's first examine some transits.

Monday, January 15th

No notable transits

Tuesday, January 16th

Sun in Capricorn sextile Neptune in Pisces at 25*

This is a gentle and positive transit that enhances your sensitivity, inspiration, and intuition. It's a perfect opportunity for meditation and listening to your inner self. If you've been pushing too hard lately, use these energies to reflect on your desires and be a bit kinder to yourself.

Wednesday, January 17th

No notable transits

Thursday, January 18th

Mercury in Capricorn sextile Saturn in Pisces at 5*

Friday, January 19th

Mercury in Capricorn sextile Jupiter in Taurus at 6*

Venus in Sagittarius square Neptune in Pisces at 25*

Today, Mercury and Saturn form a favorable transit, serving as a positive counterbalance to the transit between Venus and Neptune. Mercury and Saturn's collaboration contributes to common sense and a clear picture of yourself and your life. While the square between Venus and Neptune may lead to self-doubt, use your common sense to avoid low self-esteem or a distorted view of yourself or others.

Saturday, January 20th

Sun conjunct Pluto at 29.59* Capricorn

Sun enters Aquarius

Today, the Sun leaves Capricorn and enters the airy and delightful energy of Aquarius, contributing to a significant energy shift. You'll feel freer, your thoughts become more intense, and you'll think outside the box in the coming weeks. The mighty Pluto accompanies the Sun, and there are only a few hours between their entry into Aquarius.

Sunday, January 21st

Pluto enters Aquarius

Today is the day when Pluto fully enters Aquarius, and we can expect significant changes in the world over the next 20 years. Pluto is a powerful planet representing life and death, transformation, and delving deep into things. In Capricorn, the leading earth sign, it transformed various structures and larger organizations. We've also witnessed economic crises in recent years, coinciding with Pluto's entry into Capricorn. Now, Pluto moves into Aquarius, the air sign governing originality, technology, the internet, and our higher consciousness.

For instance, we've seen rapid developments in AI in 2023. In Aquarius, there's a longing for freedom and a desire for control over one's life. With the help of technology, we see more people working from home or living as digital nomads. Aquarius also governs spirituality, and we can expect an increase in spiritual awareness. The last time Pluto was in Aquarius was about 250 years ago, coinciding with historical events marked by liberation, such as the American Revolutionary War, Russia's annexation of Crimea, the French Revolution, and the Russo-Turkish War, to name a few. People sought self-determination, and we can anticipate similar sentiments over the next 20 years. It's an exciting development as powerful Pluto meets Aquarius' originality.
